Personal workplace experience story:

Earplugs were provided during a remodel of the office. The jack hammers used for removing concrete made a lot of noise. They also made it difficult to even type since the whole building vibrated. Ah, but at least we had ear plugs.

Bought by Boeing. Boeing is slowly discovering the place really needs a thorough house cleaning.
